1

Find things to sell

Walk through your home and look for anything you haven't used in 6 months — clothes, electronics, furniture, tools, toys, kitchen items. Don't overthink it. If it's in good condition, someone wants it.

2

Take good photos

Clean the item. Take 3-5 photos in natural light — front, back, and any details. Good photos = faster sales. Use your phone camera and photograph outside or near a window.

3

List on Facebook Marketplace

Open Facebook → tap the Marketplace icon → tap Sell. Choose a category, write a clear title (e.g. 'Black leather couch, great condition'), set a fair price (check what others list for), and add your photos.

4

Price to sell fast

Search for your item on Marketplace to see what others charge. Price yours 10-20% lower to sell within days, not weeks. When you need cash fast, selling speed matters more than getting top dollar.

5

Meet safely and get paid

Meet buyers in a public place like a parking lot during daytime. Accept cash or use Cash App/Venmo/PayPal. Never ship to unknown buyers without payment confirmed first.

💡 Tips & Notes

Start with your best items to build momentum. Once you have some positive reviews, buyers trust you more. Post new items every few days to stay visible in the feed. Electronics and furniture sell the fastest.
